The measurement of time has always been a
prime importance to man from earliest times.
To reach the precision of present day watches centuries of continuous
research and discoveries have been necessary, passing gradually from sun
dial, through water and fire clocks to the hourglass and on to mechanical
clocks.
The movements used in our clocks are of German manufacture, and have a
variety of different features such as bells and chimes depending on the
model.
